Dosing Information

There is only one standard recommended dose of acyclovir and hydrocortisone, regardless of your age or weight. As always, do not adjust your dosage unless your healthcare provider specifically tells you to do so.

Drug Interactions

In general, acyclovir and hydrocortisone is unlikely to react with other medications (see Acyclovir and Hydrocortisone Drug Interactions).
 

Overdose Information

Applying too much acyclovir and hydrocortisone may cause skin redness and discomfort but is unlikely to cause dangerous overdose symptoms. However, taking this medication by mouth could cause overdose symptoms.
 
If you happen to overdose on acyclovir and hydrocortisone, seek immediate medical attention.

What Should I Do If I Forget to Apply Acyclovir and Hydrocortisone?

If you forget to apply acyclovir and hydrocortisone at the scheduled time, apply it as soon as you remember. If it is almost time for your next application, skip the missed dose and continue with your regular schedule.
 

Storage Information

Acyclovir and hydrocortisone should be stored at room temperature. Do not allow the cream to freeze. Keep this and all other medications out of the reach of children and pets.
