What Should I Do If I Miss a Dose of Acyclovir Cream?

If you do not take your acyclovir cream as scheduled, take your missed dose as soon as you remember. If it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and continue with your regular schedule. Do not use a double dose.
 

Strengths of Acyclovir Cream

Acyclovir cream is available in one strength -- Acyclovir 5% Cream. It is available in 2-gm and 5-gm tubes.
 

Is There a Generic Version of Acyclovir Cream?

Currently, there is no generic acyclovir cream licensed for sale (see Generic Zovirax Cream).
