Megace ES 625 Mg

If you have acquired immunodeficiency syndrome (AIDS) and experience a loss of appetite, weight loss, or malnutrition, your healthcare provider may recommend 625 mg of Megace® ES (megestrol ES) oral liquid taken once daily. This prescription medicine can help stimulate appetite and cause weight gain.
 
This is the standard dosage of Megace ES. It is equal to 5 mL or 1 teaspoonful a day. Do not use a household teaspoon to measure this medication; make sure to use an accurately marked measuring spoon, medicine cup, or oral syringe.
