Cimetidine (Tagamet)
Cimetidine may increase the level of rimantadine in your blood, increasing your risk of rimantadine side effects. Check with your healthcare provider before using these medications together.
 
Intranasal Flu Vaccine (FluMist)
Rimantadine may decrease the effectiveness of the intranasal flu vaccine. You must stop taking rimantadine at least 48 hours before getting the intranasal flu vaccine, and you should not take rimantadine for two weeks after the vaccine. This interaction does not apply to the traditional injected flu vaccine.
