Side Effects of Tesamorelin

When treating HIV-associated lipodystrophy with tesamorelin, side effects are possible and may include injection site reactions, joint pain, and peripheral edema. However, most people are able to use this medication without any problems. Potentially serious reactions that should be reported to a healthcare provider include signs of an allergic reaction and signs of low blood sugar.

An Introduction to Tesamorelin Side Effects

Just like any medicine, tesamorelin acetate (Egrifta™) can cause side effects. However, not everyone who takes the medication will have problems. In fact, most people tolerate it quite well. If reactions do occur, in most cases, they are minor and either require no treatment or are treated easily by you or your healthcare provider.
