Tesamorlin

Were you looking for information on Tesamorelin? Tesamorlin is a common misspelling of tesamorelin.

Tesamorelin acetate (Egrifta™) is a drug prescribed to treat HIV-associated lipodystrophy. This condition is a common side effect of medications used for HIV, and it causes excessive fat accumulation around the abdomen (stomach).

Tesamorelin comes as powder that is mixed with Sterile Water for Injection to create a solution, which is then injected just under the skin of the abdomen. Thus, one of the more common side effects is redness or pain at the injection site; however, most people tolerate it well.
