Side Effects of Zanamivir

Difficulty breathing, seizures, and allergic reactions are some of the potentially serious side effects of zanamivir that require immediate medical care. However, in most cases, side effects (if they even occur) are minor and easily treated by you or your healthcare provider. Some of the more common zanamivir side effects include fever, sinus infections, and dizziness.

As with any medicine, side effects are possible with zanamivir (Relenza®). However, not everyone who takes the drug will experience side effects. In fact, most people tolerate it quite well.
